Jesse Hake grew up in Taiwan as the oldest of nine children in the home of a missionary and college professor. He has a BA from Geneva College in history as well as an MLitt in Reformation history from the University of St Andrews in Scotland. He has taught college courses in history, philosophy, and ethics as well as upper-school history, literature, and rhetoric at Covenant Christian Academy (Harrisburg, PA). Most recently, he served for seven years at Logos Academy (York, PA) as academic dean and then as principal. Jesse joined Classical Academic Press in the spring of 2019 to serve as assistant publisher. He lives in Harrisburg with his wife, Elizabeth, and their three children, Nessa, Tobias and Tabitha.
