Devon, PA. As some FPR readers will know, for nearly two years I wrote a column, The Treasonous Clerk, for the web journal, First Principles. That web journal has moved in the direction of a primer for the principles of American society and American conservatism — an excellent resource for the young, particularly undergraduates, who wish to gain a firmer sense of the American traditions of government. You may find the newly designed (and well designed at that) site here.
It’s just occurred to me to introduce some acquaintances involved with the “9/12” movement to the introductory pieces at ISI and First Principles. Like their mentor, Glenn Beck fans show genuine curiosity, but Beck himself often offers incomplete and just plain screwy versions of American history.
