Jeffrey Howard is an Appalachian writer and journalist. He lives in an old stone cottage in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains with his wife and two German shepherds. When he isn’t tending to their homestead, he is writing for local outlets or serving as editor for Erraticus, an online publication taking a pragmatic approach to ideas. His writing has been published in KUOW, Spark Magazine, The Paper, Shareable, Resilience.org, InclusionHub, Humanities Washington, and elsewhere.
