Scott H. Moore is Associate Professor of Philosophy and Great Texts at Baylor University. He is the author of
How to Burn a Goat: Farming with the Philosophers (Baylor University Press),
The Limits of Liberal Democracy: Religion and Politics at the End of Modernity (IVP Academic) and the co-editor of
Finding a Common Thread: Reading Great Texts from Homer to O'Connor (St. Augustine Press). He was the founding director of the Great Texts Program at Baylor. He and his wife Andrea have five children and three grandchildren and live on a small farm in Crawford, Texas, where they enjoy gardening and raising heritage breeds of cattle, sheep, hogs, and poultry.
